New Tune: Stars – “Why I Want to Save You”
Though not stunningly different from any of the other songs of gauzy, harmonic beauty found on their last LP, In Our Bedroom After the War, the new Stars track “Why I Want to Save You” is about as good as the band gets—punchy choruses swathed in strands of dream-popped verses. If they ever stop touring, “Save You” might even get an entire album attached to it.
