KROQ and Web in Front Presents: Radars to the Sky and Le Switch with Marvelous Toy and the Happy Casualties (11.18.09)

Next Wednesday, Web in Front will be co-presenting and DJing a special Radars to the Sky show at the Echo, with Le Switch, Marvelous Toy and the Happy Casualties also performing. The band has been relatively low profile since late last year following a triumphant Echo residency and performance at the El Rey (both of which you can listen to here and here), as they’ve been meticulously working on their debut album. This Wednesday’s show marks their reemergence as regularly performing Los Angeles live act, and to celebrate the band will be handing out limited edition three-song ‘preview’ EPs of the new album. It’s a show not to be missed–Radars to the Sky have been aptly described by Mouse of Classical Geek Theatre as “indie rock for the indie rocker,” and their new material is absolutely ferocious.
And, as mentioned above, also on hand will be the excellent Le Switch and Marvelous Toy, both of whom are also recording new records (Le Switch’s And Now… Le Switch was one of our favorites of 2008), as well as the dream-rock grooves of Happy Casualties. Translation: there’s no reason not to go. It’s gonna be a good night–we’ll see you there.
