Bedrock Rehearsal Studios celebrates grand opening this Sunday

In what is soon to be an Echo Park musical Mecca, Bedrock Rehearsal Studios is throwing a party this Sunday to mark its grand opening–the 37,000 square foot space has been converted into eight separate recording studios, with a cafe, brewery, roof-top garden, and three guest suites for recording bands to soon follow. Seriously. Bedrock’s stated goal is to “create a locally fueled one stop spot for the ever growing musical community of Los Angeles’ east side.”  Also expect Spaceland Productions to begin hosting a series of intimate performances in the coming months–if you’re not seizing right now, you’re probably not a local music fan.

Be sure to clear your schedule for Sunday afternoon–from 2 PM to 6 PM, you’ll be at Bedrock, enjoying the free brauts, beer, haircuts (!), a Dixon snare drum raffle, and performances by Evan Way of the Parson Red Heads, Fort Wife (featuring Avi Buffalo), and Learning Music.  Simply RSVP to rsvp@bedrockla.com for free entry into the event.

Bedrock is located at 1623 Allesandro Street here in L.A.  We’ll see you there on Sunday.
